A Glimpse of TSASS On-Line Analytical Tool (Discoverer)

TSASS can provide their clients with Oracle Discoverer, a data analysis tool which allows users to dynamically create and query summary tables from their portion of the Crash Data Warehouse.

Participating agencies are provided with accounts which give them special in-depth access to their data within the warehouse, as well as summary information for the entire database.

Using Discoverer, users directly access the data tables for analysis in an user friendly business area.  Data sets can quickly and easily be created using Discoverer, with the results savable to an Microsoft Excel file.

The flexibility of Discoverer lies in the ability to drill down to the data you want.

For example, we are interested in only those records with an Accident Severity of 2 (Serious Injury).  We can drill down to display the distribution by another field in the table.

Here, we have drilled down to obtain the monthly Distribution of crashes with an Accident Severity value of 2.

Create a crosstab table to examine the crashes in your region by Accident Severity and Year.  Discoverer's advanced algorithms provides reactive and predictive querying, thus allowing you to easily expand your search.

Furthermore, Discoverer allows you to access your individual records for more a more in depth analysis of your data.
This is just one of the tools that TSASS, Inc. provides its clients.
